$10 Million Awarded to Woman Struck by Bus
Jurors have ordered the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority to pay $10 million to a woman who was struck by an out of control bus while waiting at a stop. Louise Scialdone requires around-the-clock care for brain and other injuries, her attorney said. MBTA attorneys are said to be reviewing the verdict for a possible appeal.
