California Wildfires Likely to Lead to Litigation

With the insurance industry actively practicing its "delay, deny, defend" procedure, it is likely that California homeowners will have to sue insurance companies in order to rebuild their fire-ravaged homes . As was the case in Louisiana, Mississippi and California (in 2003), insurance companies will likely delay paying claims, deny legitimate claims and then defend any lawsuits that are filed.
