Johnson & Johnson and Novartis AG's Sandoz Unit Recall Pain Patches

A unit of Johnson & Johnson has recalled a version of one of its painkilling patches (Duragesic) after discovering leaks that could result in fatal overdoses . The recall covers patches distributed in the United States and Canada that release 25 micrograms of fentanyl, a powerful painkiller, in an hour.
