Kroger Sued Over E. Coli

An Ohio woman filed a lawsuit Monday against grocery store chain Kroger Co. alleging that she was sickened by ground beef bought at one of their stores. According to the lawsuit Amanda Adam was hospitalized with an E. coli-related illness after eating hamburger patties purchased at a Dublin store on June 4. The lawsuit seeks at least $25,000 in damages. AP, Forbes 06/30/2008
