Helicopter Companies pay $9.5 Million

A helicopter manufacturer and a parts maker have agreed to pay $9.5 million to settle a lawsuit filed by a New Hampshire couple who were injured in a 2007 helicopter crash. Judy and Douglas Barton filed the lawsuit against Boeing Co. and Aluminum Precision Products after the helicopter they were riding in crashed, leaving both with debilitating injuries. The accident occurred while the couple was celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. Suzanne Roig, Honolulu Advertiser 06/24/2008
