$18 Million Paid in Auto Accident Case

AIG will pay $18 million to settle a lawsuit filed by a man who was left disabled after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The settlement nullifies a $75 million judgment reached in a North Carolina superior court after an AIG subsidiary declined to defend the case.
