Kennedy Hodges has begun investigating surgical infections potentially caused by bacteria spread by forced air warming devices used in most American hospitals. These forced air warming devices, including Arizant's Bair Hugger®, will be the subject of the firm's investigation.
Tens of thousands of the devices remain in daily use. If you are a loved one suffered a surgical site infection, one of these devices may have been the cause.
