Cell Phones May Be to Blame in 28% of Accidents
Of all the accidents in the United States, 28% involve the use of cell phones. The cell phone use includes text messaging while driving and talking. Most of these collisions are caused by cell phone conversations (1.4 million) and a lesser number are caused by texting (200,000). Washington Post 01/13/2010
