FDA Orders Baxter to Recall Infusion Pumps

Federal regulators have ordered Baxter International to recall its Colleague infusion pumps. The FDA ordered the recall because of Baxter's longstanding failure to fix problems with the infusion pumps. The pumps put patients at risk for various malfunctions such as overinfusion, underinfusion and electrical shock.
