Medtronic Device Recall Upgraded

The FDA has concluded that a medical tissue device may be causing more problems than originally thought. The Octopus Nuvo Tissue Stabilizer, manufactured my Medtronic, Inc., was recalled in September because it tends to break during use. The FDA is now saying that using the product could cause death or serious injury and has instructed health care facilities to stop using them.
