New regulations will be in place concerning cribs sold in the United States. It will be illegal to sell or even donate any crib does not meet new safety standards. The regulations are extremely strict and many cribs already in existing homes may not meet the new standards. Federal regulators are recommending that current crib-owners should buy new cribs and destroy their old ones.
