Case Settled

We are pleased to announce that the parties reached a settlement in Willis v. North Cypress Medical Center, a lawsuit on behalf of over 2,000 direct patient care employees for unpaid meal breaks.  We successfully defeated Defendant's attempts to decertify the FLSA and Rule 23 classes, which gave us significant negotiating leverage at mediation.  The parties reached a confidential settlement and will go through the court approval process to finalize the settlement.  If you are part of this case, we will follow up with you regarding settlement after the court grants approval.
