Familiarity with computers and technical knowledge have become essential to legal assistant work at Kennedy Hodges. Computer software packages and the Internet are used to manage cases and search legal literature stored in computer databases and on CD-ROM.  All documents that come into the firm are scanned and thereafter easily retrievable.  When the case is finished, if you desire a copy of your file, it can usually be downloaded onto a CD-ROM rather than copied and boxed up.

Virtually all of the staff at Kennedy Hodges is bilingual in English and Spanish.  Some received their education at a four-year college while others received a paralegal certification at a school specializing in training legal assistants.
